RMS have been providing a scheduled quarterly preventative maintenance program for us for the last 15 years. They have managed this work in a highly professional manner with minimal staff turnover. The technicians are familiar with our property and there have been no issues over this time frame. We have also used RMS for any unforeseen problemsand their work has been timely and well done. We have found the principals of RMS, Jim Kupczak and Craig Mackin, to be easy to communicate with and in all cases, they have been very responsive to our needs. As an example, a large tree fell on our deck during a bad windstorm in 2017. RMS responded immediately, contacting a tree removal service and ensuring that our yard and deck were secured so that further issues could be avoided. The deck was replaced in timely fashion, with a minimum of disruption to our busy lives. 

RMS technicians are respectful of our home and belongings and have always left things clean, tidy and organized. In no instance have we had a concern with respect to either the safety of our home or that of RMS technicians and employees.

We have had two significant upgrades to each of two properties that we own and have used RMS as the general contractor. They managed this work very well using quality sub-contractors. We were advised of unforeseen issues in timely fashion and options were fairly presented. 

We are most impressed with the responsiveness and high standards employed by RMS, have recommended them to our friends and will continue to do so. As busy professionals, we find that RMS provides a service that is invaluable since we do not have the time to attend to household matters ourselves. We appreciate that there is additional cost associated with this and have been more than happy to pay for the peace of mind that we obtain from using the professionals at RMS. We fully support their application for certification.

RMS has been very helpful to us in the last few years.  As busy professionals, we often do not have time to handle all the maintenance needs of our home and with RMS, we can be assured that the preventative and remedial maintenance that our home needs is being done professionally and in a timely manner.

We have been a customer of RMS for several years and are impressed and happy with the level of service and dedication Jim Kupczak and his staff deliver. We contracted RMS initially so that our home would be well taken care of when we travelled and, as my mother lives with us, we felt it would give her a level of security when we were away, knowing that there was just one number for her to call, no matter what the problem. Not only does my mother have a number to call for anything that may need attention while we are away, but she has also found a friend in Jim, someone she knows she can can trust and call about anything!

Having said that, we initially contracted RMS for security when we travelled but immediately discovered that the service helped us when we weren't travelling! During our first week with RMS, our hot water tank needed replacing, so instead of calling our own plumber we called RMS and, to our amazement, the new hot water tank was on its way practically before we hung up the phone! And, when we needed a drywaller for some repairs, one arrived within days! We thought that to be a minor miracle as the last time we needed a drywaller in Edmonton, we waited eight months!

RMS has their own reliable stable of trades they call on so we know that when a trade comes to our home we don't have to worry about their professionalism. And, RMS not only provides the standard trades such as electricians and plumbers, but will find service personnel to do almost anything that needs doing in a house!  We have come to rely on RMS service, from their quarterly home visits to ensure everything is working as it should, to being able to call one number, anytime, and for almost anything. Having RMS service allows one to live worry free in one's own home -- like owning a condo, but better!

I have been extremely grateful to have been a client of RMS for the past four years. We have been clients of Residential Maintenance Services for the past 9 years and in that time have had work done from a few hundred dollars to in excess of one hundred thousand dollars, and in all cases we can unequivocally say we have always been satisfied by the work done, and that it was completed in a professional manner. This is something that cannot be said for many businesses.

From the quarterly preventive maintenance program to the emergency service, we rely on Residential Maintenance Services to maintain and repair our home. A specific example of service above and beyond occurred during a Christmas party we were hosting for over 50 guests, when the kitchen sink clogged, disabling us from providing dinner. Without interruption to the party, during the Christmas season, RMS had plumbers to the house within the hour, fixed the problem, and left without our guests even knowing that the repair had been dealt with.
